Hello Friends!
I am aware that I have quite irregular in my blogging
activities nowadays but let me assure that my passion towards blogging has not
faded or please do not feel, I am not serious about the blogging. Well! The
truth is I was very busy recently. However, I am going to redesign and reset my
blog and website. The fresh look of my blog will be launched and the old
blogposts will be updated soon. This blog was in flashlight just because of book
reviews which I called as BookLysis!
I didn’t even review too many books this year. 2017 is going to an end and the
new year 2018 is on its way. Though I will share my resolutions for the new
year soon; let me tell you how 2017 was for me.
I remember that I had spent my weekend of December 2016
in Pune and Solapur.
I was in Pune to participate in 23rd Akhil
Bhartiya Navodit Marathi Sahitya Sammelan organized at Kunjirwadi. I
recited there ‘Manavta’
and ‘Aayushya’
and I was I was honored by ‘Jagadguru Tukobarai
Sahitya Gaurav Puraskar 2016’ and an another trophy for recitation of
the poems. Several local newspapers published the news about my participation
in the program. I met some friends who were part of my life via WhatsApp only.
I must acknowledge vice president of ABMSP Mr. Rajkumar Kalbhor Sir for rewarding
me Rs. 500 in cash after being heard my long poem Aayushya.
Whole world celebrates 31st December in bars
or disco, but I had spent the last evening of 2016 devoting my gratitude’s in
the most auspicious temple of Lord
Vitthal aka Lord Pandurang
at Pandharpur in Solapur district, located at
central Maharashtra.
When 2016 turns into 2017, I was riding on a bike with Mr.
Prasad Mohite on the streets of Solapur. I stayed at his room. Today, Prasad
Mohite is the name who does not need any introduction, however still if
you do not know him; let me inform you that he and his wife Mrs. Anu
Tirnagri-Mohite are two of the most recognized young social workers in Solapur
district and nearby area. They run ‘Vanchitanchi
Shala’- A school for deprived students near police station in
Solapur. What could be a better way to start a new year? I started my new year
2017, mingling with underprivileged children learning in ‘Vanchitanchi
Shala’. I can’t express my joy of such a brilliant start of my
new year while watching those underprivileged kids learning happily. After some
time, A Young Inspirators
Network (YIN) team from Sakal
Newspaper’s Solapur edition joined us and we distributed sweets, notebooks
and pens to the students which were being donated by them. Actually, I wanted
to share my whole experience in detail but I could not do that; however I will
try to post a new blogpost about my particular experience in Marathi.
After a unique start of my new year I attended the Rajyastariya Shikshak Kavi Sammelan organized by Kavyapremi Shikshak Manch for which I was there in Solapur. I recited ‘Preyasila vinanti’ at the program and honored by Rajyastariya Kshitij Kavyapremi Shikshak Kavi Sanman 2017. I thank Mr. Ramdas Deshmukh Sir for making my trip possible for me.
After the program I went to Tuliapur and met my friend
Navnath Kawde before worshipping in the Tulja Bhavani temple.
January 2017 was quite special for me. I was invited
as one of the chief guests to deliver a speech and guide students in the
presence of former MLA Hon. Mr. Ramratan Raut and sitting member of legislative
assembly (MLA) Hon. Mr. Mr. Sanjay Puram for the inauguration ceremony of
Annual Cultural Programs (gathering) at Smt. Soniyabai Dudhnaag Primary and
Madhyamik Ashram Shala, Mhaisuli
near Chichgarh in
Deori tehsil in my district on dated
26th January 2017. Although I have an audio clip of my speech, I am
looking forward to get my video clip and publish that on upcoming republic day
of India. However you can listen my speech on Google Drive.
I also recited a poem ‘Shetivar Kavita’
at 3rd Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Shetkari Sahitya Sammelan

Shetkari Sahitya
Sanman’ in Gadchiroli

year My last book review published in 2017 (i.e Finding

Feb and March 2017) of an international e-magazine Sanskruti International

This year my goal was to get any job. I was offered a job
for the post of a content writer at a startup firm in Pune but I advertently missed
an opportunity. I am glad to share with you that currently, I am working as
an Assistant English Teacher at Abhinav
Vidya Mandir School, Rondha in Salekasa Tehsil in my district.
